Topic: You have probably been hearing the terms “Sprints”, “Backlog”, “Chickens & Pigs” for the last year or so and wondering what all this has to do with software development. If you are interested in finding out, this session will be of interest to you. We will cover the basics of Scrum. Scrum is an agile development methodology to iteratively and incrementally develop software systems and products (especially when requirements are rapidly changing). We will explore the Scrum process framework focusing on the 3 Roles, 3 Artifacts and 3 Ceremonies of Scrum. We will also touch upon Agile principles on which Scrum and other iterative methodologies are based on.
