Job Announcement Code: 8-01745 Deadline to apply: July 21, 2008 This position is responsible for providing technical expertise with the analysis, design, development and maintenance of computer applications. These systems are used to capture, manipulate, interrelate and report data at the Department of Public Instruction. This includes but is not limited to applications on the Internet. Development and maintenance of these systems require knowledge and experience working with relational databases, JAVA, Oracle, PL/SQL and testing. General knowledge of LAN technology and the Microsoft operating systems is important. Good communications skills and the ability to partner with the user community is essential. |
