The Sr Apps Programmer/Analyst will be involved in all phases of application software development life cycle like Design, development, testing, and deployment of web applications using Java, J2EE, and the BEA Portal technologies. Skills: Expert Java, J2EE programming 5+ Years, EJB, Servlets, JSP, Struts, JDBC, OOAD, UML, XML, HTML, AJAX, JavaScript, Weblogic Portal (9x/10.x) Good design skills, Backend development experience (EJB, MDB) Experience Of SOA Components Development (Web Services, WSRP) Database - Oracle, PL/SQL Experience With Agile/Iterative Development The candidate should be a committed team player and should have very strong problem solving and analytical skills. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Design, develop, test, and deploy web applications using Java, J2EE, and the BEA Portal technologies (9x/10.x). Translate business requirements into robust and customer-friendly web applications. Estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and complete software development on-time and in budget The candidate would serve with other internal resources working to maintain and implement production applications JOB SPECIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience. Master's degree preferred. Experience with Bea Weblogic, Bea Portal, Linux, and SOA preferred. Consulting experience preferred. Healthcare Experience preferred. Substantial experience (usually 5+ years) in all phases of application software development/maintenance life cycles in a web-based environment. Knowledge about software development alternatives among website development. Strong skills required in verbal and written communications. |
